OMA 2006 Membership Survey Results
The second annual OMA membership satisfaction survey asked members to rate the Association’s performance in a number of key categories, including physician representation, policy issues, service provision and communications. Overall, the results are positive. The survey also explored members’ working lives, their degree of professional satisfaction, and intent to relocate or retire in th
e near future.

OMA elected leaders and the staff of the organization have been trying to shift from what some have called a “passive, reactive” Association, to a more member-focused, responsive and visible OMA. I think we are making progress. The results of the 2006 membership satisfaction survey have been tabulated and we are tracking favourably in virtually all categories.
