AstraZeneca Canada Inc. recently presented a cheque for $10,000 to the Ontario Medical Student Bursary Fund. The generous donation marks the fourth instalment of a five-year pledge of $50,000. Alcon Canada and OMSBF partner at Harry Potter premiere
Alcon Canada Inc. and the Ontario Medical Student Bursary Fund recently partnered to host a magical fundraising event at the Famous Players Colossus theatre in Toronto. Physicians and their families enjoyed a premiere screening of “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.” Prior to the movie, physicians heard a presentation on ear infections, delivered by OMA District 11 Chair Dr. Michael Hawke. Richmond Hill pediatrician Dr. Norman Blustein (above) attended the movie with nine-year-old daughter Dayna, and six-year-old nephew Jamie.
