OMA Incorporation Service
A growing number of Ontario physicians are taking
advantage of the OMA Incorporation Service, a cost-effective
online benefit offered by the OMA Legal
Services Department. More than 600 physicians have
incorporated through the OMA since the service was
launched in January 2006, and today the OMA is
incorporating more physicians than anyone else in
the province of Ontario.

Wireless and Mobile Devices
Wireless data networks inmost health-care settings use
encryption to prevent unauthorized access to personal
information. However, the security of that information
may be compromised when mobile devices, such as
laptops, are taken outside of the secure environment. Both
the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner
and the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
have issued recommendations for the safe usage of
portable devices and wireless networks.
