“DOCS on Ice” Hockey Tournament Marks Silver Anniversary 
Nearly 700 Ontario physicians played hockey and raised money for charity during the 25th anniversary of the Doctors of Ontario Charity on Ice hockey tournament, held recently in Hamilton. Each year since 1983, the tournament has been held in a different city, and focuses on the founding principles of charity, camaraderie, and sportsmanship.

2006 Annual Report
Since its inception in 1999, the Ontario Medical Student
Bursary Fund has disbursed approximately $1.2 million to
assist over 600 students across Ontario with the financial
needs of obtaining a medical education.
