Member Outreach
Member Outreach offers services and programs designed to assist physicians and students in their roles as leaders in the community and profession. For example:
- Regular physician leader updates and communications
- Professional Leadership and communication training
- Videoconferencing capabilities for meetings
- OMA updates at branch society and district meetings
- Arrange guest speakers
- Assistance with raising physician profiles with in communities
- Support for creation of media advisories, press releases and press conferences on local helth issues and initiatives
- Sponsorship of local medical society initiatives
- In collaboration with the Womens Issues Committee - Offering leadership seminars and outreach dinners for medical women.
