Dr. Jonathan Sherbino

Dr. Jonathan Sherbino is a trauma team leader and a professor of medicine. As a medical educator, Dr. Sherbino received the 2018 teacher of the year award by the Canadian Association of Emergency Physicians. He is also an assistant dean of Health Professions Education Research at the Faculty of Health Sciences at McMaster University and past chair of a specialty committee for emergency medicine at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. His research focuses on competency-based medical education and clinical reasoning. He has published more than 150 papers and given numerous plenary and keynote addresses and co-edited the CanMEDS 2015 Framework.
