Dr. Sandra Gregorovich

My wife, Sandra, was the kindest person I have ever known, during almost 30 years of living together. Her dedication to our two sons, Nicolas and Francisco, and her love for obstetrics and gynecology was an inspiration for anyone who happen to have the luck of working with her.

She was able to work for more than 14 years as an OB-GYN in Argentina, and when we immigrated to Canada in May 2004, she immediately started the IMG certification process in Ontario.

First, she worked as a research co-ordinator and then as a teacher for midwives at McMaster University. In 2011, she was accepted for the McMaster OB-GYN residency program, when only three candidates in Canada were accepted for residency.

After five years of rotating through different hospitals across the GTA and Hamilton, she obtained her specialty license in 2016, to practice her passion for delivering babies in Ontario. That same year our youngest son finished high school.

Sandra decided to specialize in maternal-fetal medicine and for that took a two-year fellowship program at Western University, and in July 2019 opened her own practice in Chatham, working for the Chatham Kent Health Alliance until the end of her life, due to lung cancer (non-smoker).

We will always remember her as a doctor with great bed manners, as a mother, as my wife, the love of my life.

Rest in peace my amore.
