OMA Responds to Budget 2019

Toronto, April 11, 2019 - The Ontario Medical Association is pleased to see that Budget 2019 continues to prioritize the health of Ontarians by recognizing the importance of mental health and addiction and long-term care, and committing to health system transformation and an ongoing partnership with Ontario’s doctors. “Today’s budget showcases that health continues to be a key priority for Ontarians, and that the renewed relationship between Ontario’s doctors and the Ontario government is strong,” said Dr. Nadia Alam, President of the Ontario Medical Association. “Ontario’s doctors are committed to their patients and will continue to advocate to ensure that they have access to quality and timely care.”
