OMA Welcomes Funding for Expanding Rehabilitation Care in the Niagara Region

Toronto, February 11, 2019 - The Ontario Medical Association (OMA) is pleased to see Minister Elliott and Minister McNaughton’s continuous commitment to health care by investing in rehabilitation care for patients in the Niagara Region. Today’s announcement provides Hotel Dieu Shaver Health and Rehabilitation Centre with a $500,000 planning grant for the expansion of rehabilitation beds, which provides specialty health care centres to grow and meet health care demands in communities.

The OMA is pleased to see this investment and looks forward to collaborating with the government on finding solutions in modernizing Ontario’s health care system.
