OMA patient-focused COVID-19 tools and resources available for your practice

The OMA has developed several patient-focused tools and resources to help raise awareness around COVID-19 safety practices and protocols. These include Community InfoBulletins, as well as a Contact Tracing Pocket Journal and a Personal Activity Log to help patients track their contacts and symptoms. Physicians are invited to download these resources for posting in medical offices and on practice websites, and for sharing online with patients.

Community InfoBulletin
Community InfoBulletin is the OMA’s new public-facing newsletter which provides timely “news you can use” about COVID-19. The first edition (available in English and French) describes the new normal for patient care. The second edition (pictured above, left) is available in 21 languages and describes contact tracing: what it is, how it works, why it’s important, and how to track your contacts. The latest edition, entitled What You Need to Know About Masks, is available in English and French. Access the OMA Community InfoBulletins.
COVID-19 Contact Tracing Pocket Journal
COVID-19 Contact Tracing Pocket Journal is for patients who won’t or can’t use the COVID Alert app and are looking for a paper-based method to track their contacts. Access and download the Pocket Journal, which is available in 21 languages.
COVID-19 Activity Log
COVID-19 Activity Log helps patients awaiting COVID-19 test results recall their symptoms and contacts in case they test positive. Download the PDF.
COVID-19 Contact Tracing Personal Activity Log
COVID-19 Contact Tracing Personal Activity Log helps COVID-19-positive patients organize their symptom and close contact information so they don’t forget any details when talking to public health.
