Current Opportunities

  • Technical Project Coordinator
    The OMA is seeking a talented Technical Project Coordinator to join our technology team.  This role will be responsible for project coordination and providing support for operational activities. Operational activities include planning, assessing, implementing, and monitoring and maintaining business infrastructure.

  • Legal Counsel (12-month Contract)
    Reporting to the General Counsel/Director of Legal, the Legal Counsel is responsible for providing legal advice to the OMA and its subsidiaries, legal assistance and services to the Association and its members.

  • Project Analyst, Membership Operations (Contract/Practicum)
    The Membership Modernization project is the design & development of a new staff system to optimize and enhance membership operations used by OMA staff. The project sits under the Member Connect Program, with the goal of modernizing OMA processes and systems. The ultimate goal is to enable OMA staff to better serve its members and improve the member experience.

  • Project Manager/Business Planning Analyst, Technology
    The Ontario Medical Association (OMA) advocates for and supports doctors, seeking to strengthen their leadership role in caring for patients.   • Director, Government Relations and Advocacy
    The Director, Government Relations and Advocacy is responsible for developing and implementing the OMA’s government relations and advocacy strategies to advance OMA objectives, improve OMA’s relationship with government and enable sustained grassroots health care advocacy.

  • Sr. Insurance Associate (6-month Contract)
    The Senior Insurance Associate is accountable to the Supervisor for providing administrative sales support to the advisory team by handling new business leads from initial contact through to policy delivery and related customer service to clients.  

  • Director, Human Resources
    The Director, People & Culture, is accountable to the Executive Director, People & Culture, and is responsible for designing, planning and implementing key changes within both the HR function as well as the broader OMA organization during a time of transformation.

  • Coordinator, Elections & Appointments
    The Coordinator, Elections and Appointments is responsible for the planning and administration of the elections process and the recruitment and appointment process for all OMA committees and task forces.

  • Account Director, Executive Communications - Member Relations, Advocacy & Communications
    The Account Director, Executive Communications prepares written materials & digital content, manages issues, and provides strategic communications support to the OMA Executive (Board of Directors, Council, Executive Committee), and maintains and enhances relationships with member, public and corporate audiences in support of the goals and objectives of the Ontario Medical Association.

  • Lead, IT Risk and Compliance
    The Lead, IT Risk and Compliance The IT Risk and Compliance Lead is responsible for analysing and managing IT risks and compliance situations emerging from technology initiatives, operations and third-party contracts, and ensuring meeting OMA strategy, policies, roadmap, and to meet the evolving requirements for availability, reliability, scalability, safety and security.

  • Senior Customer Service Administrator Insurance Services- OMA Insurance
    The Senior Customer Service Administrator is responsible for providing courteous and professional assistance and information to insured individuals and eligible association members, with respect to insurance solutions, procedural or administrative questions they may have, help navigating our website, and complaints or concerns they may have while dealing with our business partners.

  • Manager, Office Services - People & Culture
    This position is responsible for the day to day management of the Office Services functions including facilities management, print production and mail services and centralized purchasing and materials management
