The Ontario Medical Association (OMA) congratulates the Trillium Health Partner’s on the successful opening of expanded facilities at the Credit Valley Hospital.

This expansion will allow patients in Mississauga to have increased access to essential emergency-based health and medical services.

“Mississauga is a fast-growing community, and not surprisingly, Trillium Health Partners has risen to the challenge of meeting the growing populations’ health care needs,” said Dr. Nadia Alam, OMA President.

“Their emphasis on innovative care pathways, and listening to frontline doctors and staff has not gone unnoticed by local and provincial governments. It was a privilege to stand by my Ontario colleagues at the ribbon-cutting ceremony today,” said Alam.

OMA sees innovative projects like this that create further hospital capacity as a positive indication of policy opportunities to address the healthcare needs for patients in the Peel Region and across the province.
