Named bursaries

The applications for 2020-2021 are now closed. The 2021-2022 named bursaries applications will open in late fall of 2021.

OMSBF named bursaries are $2,000 bursaries that an individual or group establishes to commemorate a physician’s achievements, in memory of a colleague or relative, to support a student pursuing a specific specialty, or for students from a certain area of the province.

Students must apply for these bursaries.

Medical students can apply for multiple bursaries, provided they meet the criteria outlined for each bursary. When completing the online application form, select only the bursaries you qualify for. Please click each named bursary for more details on the criteria required.
