Student Orientations:

The Ontario Medical Association will be participating in the 2008 medical school Orientation Week, presenting at all six Ontario medical schools. The OMA’s presentation is intended to introduce students to their organization, and to give them information regarding how to become an OMA member, participate in the OMA’s programs, and benefit from the OMA’s services, including Mentorship, Insurance and the Ontario Medical Student Bursary Fund (OMSBF). The presentations will be attended by local representatives.

The dates and times of the orientations are listed below:

McMaster University: Wednesday, August 27th at 10:00 a.m.

University of Toronto: Thursday, August 28th at 11:00 a.m.

University of Ottawa: Friday, August 29th at 11:30 a.m.

University of Western Ontario: Wednesday, September 3rd at 5:00 p.m.

Queen’s University: Friday, September 5th at 12:00 p.m.

Northern Ontario School of Medicine: Wednesday, October 1st at 12:00 p.m.
