What do I Need, and How do I Apply?
Candidates who are interested in applying to medical school must be
currently enrolled in their third year of study or must have completed an
undergraduate degree by the time they apply to medical school. Many
schools also look for non-academic activities when selecting candidates
such as strong community volunteer pursuits and participation in
extra-curricular activities.

Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT) information
The MCAT (Medical College Admission Test) is required for entrance by
the majority of medical schools in Canada and the United States. Testing
is offered twice a year, usually in April and August. In Canada, medical
school application procedures are specific to the schools, except in
Ontario where the Ontario Medical School Application Service (OMSAS)
centralizes the procedure (see the link below):

Ontario Medical School Application Service
The Ontario Medical School Application Service (OMSAS) is a non-profit
centralized application service for applicants to the six Ontario medical
schools: McMaster University, Northern Ontario School of Medicine, University
of Ottawa, Queen's University, University of Toronto and The University of
Western Ontario.
