Ontario's doctors won't give up on health care

In fall 2025, we launched an advocacy campaign “We won't give up” to urge government attention and investment toward five priority areas.

  1. Ensure every Ontarian has a family doctor
  2. Improve access to community-based specialists
  3. Accelerate innovation in digital health care
  4. Preventive care: Taking a proactive approach to health care
  5. Support physician wellness

Purpose

Ontario’s doctors made a commitment not to give up on their patients or on building a better health-care system.

This provincewide public campaign highlighted the pressures facing Ontario’s health-care system and the solutions doctors put forward to improve patient care. This campaign showed doctors continuing to care for patients while pushing for meaningful change.

How we took action

We asked the public to work with Ontario's Doctors to help build a better health-care system by:

  • Learning more about our proposed solutions
  • Emailing their MPP to support Ontario's Doctors
  • Joining our town halls
  • Amplifying the message on social media by liking, sharing and commenting

Channels

This year’s campaign featured a series of public town halls, an interactive website, digital advertising and a TV commercial designed to educate both the government and the public about the most pressing issues.
