Dr. John Smart passed away peacefully at the Hamilton General Hospital on Jan. 17, 2023, at the age of 88.
Beloved husband of CarolAnne (nee Young). Loving father of Michael and Sandie Smart, and David and Ginny Smart. Cherished grandfather of Andrew, Meghan, Mitchell and Ashley. He will also be missed by many close friends.
Dr. Smart practised medicine in Waterdown, Ont., for many years, and will be remembered for his caring manner and guidance.
