The OMA advocates for Ontario’s doctors through a variety of strategies to generate support from government decision makers, elected officials, influencers and the public.
The OMA’s Prescription for Ontario sets an ambitious policy and advocacy agenda, providing 87 recommendations to improve the health-care system. Physician burnout
Burnout is a system-level issue that impacts many physicians in Ontario. As a group, physicians have higher than average rates of burnout than the general population. Learn about how the OMA advocates to the Ontario government to address burnout as a system-wide issue.
