TORONTO, July 13, 2022 – Ontario’s doctors welcome today’s announcement that more Ontarians will be eligible for a fourth dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. COVID remains a concern, with new variants driving infection rates higher throughout the province. Vaccinations are the best way to prevent infection and transmitting the virus to others.
The Ontario Medical Association represents Ontario’s 43,000-plus physicians, medical students and retired physicians, advocating for and supporting doctors while strengthening the leadership role of doctors in caring for patients.
