It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. L. Paul Marier, on July 8th, 2024 at the age of 96.
Beloved husband of the late Thérèse Lalande (deceased April 2023). He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his children Suzanne Paitich (Daniel), Madeleine Connell (Raymond), Christine Marier and Lucie Marier; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Dr. Marier began his medical career as a doctor in 1953 in the aviation. He then specialized as an anesthetist. He was chief anesthetist at the Montfort Hospital from 1962 to 1972. He began practicing general medicine in Orléans in 1967 until his retirement at the age of 83.
Dr. Marier was a man devoted to his family. This character trait was also reflected in his professional life as he deeply cared for the well-being of his patients.
Today, the Marier family say goodbye to their patriarch.
