Dr. Mohanlal Lad studied Medicine at University of Aberdeen in 1963, and practised in the UK for several years. He moved to Hamilton Ontario in 1973, where he practiced Family Medicine until 2012.
He had hospital privileges at St. Joseph’s Hospital Hamilton where he would visit his patients and deliver their babies. He had a solo practice in downtown Hamilton and was dedicated to his career and family.
After retirement he enjoyed walking, growing plants and learning on the internet. He is survived by his wife Jaya and his three daughters, Rameeta, Jyoti and Tara and his grandchildren.
After an acute illness at age 89 he passed away at St. Joesph’s Hospital, just a few months shy of his 90th birthday.
