Dr. Bob McGee lived his life with adventure, fun and travel. He passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2024 in London, Ontario.
Bob is survived by his wife Dorothy, his children Dana (Vinnie) and Andrea (Mike) and his step children, Monica (Brian) and Carla (Bob); his grandchildren Paul, Philip, Rachel, William, Adam and Peyton; his great-grandchildren, Maya, Jack, Elias and Walter. He will be dearly missed by many family members and friends.
Bob provided compassionate medical care to others throughout his professional career. Bob was president of the Canadian Lung Association and involved with the organization for many years. He volunteered his time with the Leamington Flyers, Thames Valley Trail Association, Nature London and Camino Pilgrims of London Ontario. He supported the Ride to Conquer Cancer events and raising funds for the Alzheimers Society. Bob was a member of the choir at Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church in London. Bob and Dorothy traveled the world together, bird watching, running marathons and triathlons and packing in as much as they could to their very full life.
