Dr. Jack Newman

Dr. Newman is a pediatrician, breastfeeding expert and founder of the International Breastfeeding Centre.

Dr. Jack Newman is a noted pediatrician with over 34 years of clinical experience. He is focused on helping mothers and babies fulfil their desire to breastfeed. Dr. Newman is the co-founder and co-director of the International Breastfeeding Centre, and Newman Breastfeeding Clinic and Institute, where he and his staff have worked with thousands of mothers and babies since 2006. 

Dr. Newman previously served as a hospital-based pediatrician. He was the acting director of emergency services at the Hospital for Sick Children and has been an honorary staff member in the department of pediatrics since 2003. Dr. Newman is a prolific author and has published more than 60 articles on breastfeeding, as well as the book “Dr. Jack Newman’s Guide to Breastfeeding” which has been translated into several languages.
