Dr. Arthur Huntley Cole, of Picton, Ont., passed away peacefully at the Belleville General Hospital, on Sept. 22, 2023, at the age of 93.
He will be missed dearly by his beloved wife, Judy; as well as his children, Richard, Leslie and Susan Cole; their partners; all of his grandchildren; and his great-grandchildren. Dr. Cole will also be missed by Judy's children, Mark, Christopher, Tony and Cindy Pankratz and their partners; as well as her grandchildren. Dr. Cole was predeceased by his adored wife, Nancy Anne Cole (d. 1996).
Many members of the community throughout Prince Edward County will share in the grief of our family. Dr. Cole graduated from the University of Toronto medical school in 1955 and practised as an anesthesiologist at St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto. Dr. Cole left practice in 1995 and settled into a happy retirement in Prince Edward County.
Dr. Cole (born June 23, 1930) will long be remembered as a true gentleman, with a twinkle in his eye and a cheeky grin on his face. He was a true fan of fishing, watching the Toronto Blue Jays and ending the day with good vanilla ice cream. Dr. Cole's full obituary and condolences can be viewed online.
