OMA supports additional COVID precautions

TORONTO, Dec. 10, 2021—The OMA fully supports the additional measures announced this afternoon by the Minister of Health, Hon. Christine Elliott and Chief Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Kieran Moore. Public health measures work — masking, distancing and hand-washing. Vaccines work. Ontario’s doctors and public health units encourage all those who have not yet been vaccinated to do so. First, second and third doses are so important. Making the third dose available to everyone as quickly as possible is key to boosting immunity. We want everyone to enjoy a safe holiday season and join in asking that we all do our part to keep each other protected from COVID.
