How the General Assembly works
The GA continues to grow as a mechanism for grassroots engagement.
The following priorities are being scoped by their respective panels.

Following endorsement by the Board of Directors, the Executive Team will lead the development of an implementation framework for each priority. This framework will align with the OMA’s operational plan and include practical, well-resourced strategies to support progress on the short-, medium-, and long-term goals outlined in each report.
Implementation timelines will vary depending on factors such as operational impact, available resources, budget considerations, and the complexity of any partnerships or subject matter expertise required.

- As the working group finalized its recommendations, OMA Networks flagged a broader concern: Eligible OHIP-rejected claims continue to be a significant source of frustration and administrative burden for members.
- While the working group’s recommendations remain important, their implementation will now be considered within a larger, cross-functional and bilateral effort to address this pressing issue more comprehensively.
