It is with great sadness that the family of Dr. Gordon Lindsay Dickie of London ON, announces his passing on December 22nd, 2025, in his 81st year.
He is survived by Irene, his beloved wife of 34 years and by his sons Simon Dickie (Liz Burnip), Matthew Dickie (Christa); daughters, Sarah Jajal (Tuhin), Laura Janzen (Peter Kumpula); four grandchildren Oliver, Graham, Aliyah and Ella; two brothers Alan Dickie, Ian Dickie both of Scotland and sister-in-law Miriam Grant of Nova Scotia.
Gordon immigrated from Scotland to Canada in 1971 where he became a member of the University of Western Ontario’s Family Medicine Program until his retirement in 2006.
When Gordon wasn’t practicing medicine, he could be found on the links at Sunningdale golf course, woodworking in his workshop or reading one of his treasured books.
Cremation has taken place. Interment will take place in Glen Bard Cemetery, Marshy Hope, Nova Scotia.
