We mark the end of an era of kindness, care, good nature, sparkling personality, sharp and competitive intelligence, diverse talent and unfailing medical expertise with the passing of our mother/sister/grandmother/closest friend, Thora Haynes, who passed away peacefully in her sleep in the early morning hours of March 6, 2025 at the ripe old age of 94.
Predeceased by her parents, Mary and Ting David Lee (I), brother, Glenn (Wendy) Lee, and sister-in-law Rosemary (T. David) Lee (II). She is survived by her daughter, Kate Wood, grandchildren Candace Van Den Hurk, Kyle Van Den Hurk, Alexander Wood and Jae Wood, great-grandchildren Roman and Eli Gillard, brothers Bill (Ginny) Lee and T. David Lee (III), and sister-in-law Wendy Lee, and their children and grandchildren, and a plethora of devoted friends.
All of her survivors are greatly impacted by her shining example of strength, grace and generous loving kindness - we will carry her with us always. A private service was held with close family.
